FREEDOM DISTRICT WWTP
Implementation of ENR Upgrades to the Freedom District WWTP to comply with new MDE pollutant discharge limits. The work includes demolition of existing tanks and structures as well as the construction of two new ENR Basins and upgrades to the equipment within the existing Grit Facility, Clarifiers, and Sludge Processing Facility. All work is phased and must be completed while the existing plant is in operation.

LAKE WHETSTONE RISER RESTORATION
Removal and replacement of the existing sluice gate as well as additional concrete repair for the riser structure within Lake Whetstone.

WSSC - BROAD CREEK AUGMENTATION PROJECT
Upgrade to the Broad Creek Pump Station including pump replacement, electrical rehabilitation extension to the pump station building and temporary bypass pumping. In addition to the Pump Station modifications, Two (2) sections of the pipeline (approximately 2,720 feet total) will be installed with a casing pipe constructed by microtunneling methods. 2,889 feet of 48-inch sewer force main, beginning at the Broad Creek Wastewater Pumping Station (BCWWPS) and proceeding across US National Park Service (NPS) property.

MWAA - DULLES TOLL ROAD WATERLINE IMPROVEMENT
Replacement of an existing water feed to the Dulles Toll Road booth by means of directional drilling and hydroexcavation.

DC WATER - ANACOSTIA PUMP STATION SPILL HEADER
This project provides two spill way crossovers for the existing Pump Station headers that will allow DC Water to better isolate and re-route water within the facility. This work will allow the plant better flexibility and redundancy during future maintenance and daily operating procedures.

WASHINGTON AQUEDUCT - DALECARLIA BASIN COLLECTOR MODIFICATIONS
The work includes electrical, mechanical, process and controls
components upgrades to the Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant (WTP) sedimentation basins and the associated residual transfer pumps. The work includes the phased replacement of twelve existing motor control centers, and motor starters. Specific work items include installation of variable frequency drives, valves, air release, and other mechanical equipment, modifications to existing process water piping for the installation of air release features, pressure gauges, density meters, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) program modifications and configuration of required equipment with SCADA.
