OUR HISTORY

Norair Engineering Corp. has earned its reputation for 90 years by consistently delivering successful infrastructure projects in and around our Nation’s Capital.

Norair Engineering Corp was founded in 1935 by Henry Norair.  The firm, centrally located in Washington, DC ; capitalized on the growing market for central heating, air conditioning, and plumbing construction.  In the 1950's, Richard Norair expanded the family-owned firm from a mechanical contractor into the general construction space focusing on buildings, water treatment plants, and subway stations.  Richard represented Norair Engineering while serving as President of the Associated General Contractors of DC in 1970.
