Today, our business delivers on the successful construction of utility projects that collect, treat, transfer, and deliver clean water for our communities. We work together with our clients to deliver the best possible projects; and in doing so we ensure that we will continue to provide rewarding careers for all of our Employee-Owners.

Our Project Teams support our Buy Right, Build Right, Beat Expectations commitment.
Buy Right:
Buying the right material and equipment is the foundation for any successful project. At Norair, we commit to investing the necessary time and energy into making sure we understand our scope and that we are procuring the correct items from our vendors. We share in the responsibility of driving the submittal review process. We study and understand the Contract Documents, the actual conditions in the field, and the shop drawings prepared by our partners. We endeavor to find any conflicts or disparity that exists as early as we can; and we will notify the client and their design partners so they can make quick decisions and provide direction on how to proceed. All of this effort is done so that the right material makes its way to the job in time to build the work efficiently, and with minimal delays to the schedule.
While we will make these commitments on every job, we cannot achieve success without the support and collaboration of our clients and their design partners. We believe that a successful project requires the entire team’s support, and we will work to make sure all team members are supporting these commitments.

Build Right:

Once the correct material and equipment is on-site, we need to teach our Understanding of the Scope to the field leaders so that they can direct their crews. We teach by creating well-organized and comprehensive shop drawings and work packets. We will share with our crews the measurable standards for installation tolerance and inspection, so that they understand what our Owner defines as acceptance of our work. Our field leaders will take the responsibility for making sure our work is done efficiently and correctly the first time. We will show the same level of consistent management towards the work performed by our subcontractors, because their work reflects our reputation. All members of the Norair team will be responsible for making sure all Contract paperwork is completed correctly; ensuring we get paid for the efforts of our tradespeople.

Beat Expectations:

Expectations are measured in the eyes of our Clients:

-
Are we exhibiting a strong understanding of the work, and do we have a strong plan to perform it successfully…?
-
Are we communicating our plans to our Clients and including them on any decisions that will impact their operations…?
-
Does the work that we install provide the operation that the Owner needs, and will it last for years to come
Expectations are also measured in the eyes of our tradespeople:
-
Are we providing them with the right materials and information such that they can perform their work productively…?
-
Are we getting them answers to any questions that they have…?
-
Are we providing the necessary tools and equipment to support a safe working environment…?
